INDEBTED FOREVER !!

 Standing on the threshold of being a full - fledged Septuagenarian I felt like reflecting  and reminiscing on what life has meant  to me in all these past six decades. 

The first thing that comes to my mind is Gratitude that  my heart is replete with.

I have so many things to be grateful to The Almighty for ...

blessing me with noblest of parents  , supportive relatives , a good educational background  , meritorious academic accomplishments  , a fulfilling and remunerative  career , the best of friends  ,....above all ,  the most caring , doting and loving husband , the best sons one can envisage , our  beautiful multifaceted daughters-in-law who gifted us our lifelines ...our lovely talented granddaughters. 

       The list is not over yet ....I am so thankful to The Almighty for giving me good health , all the extensive travelling to almost all the continents ,  all the comforts and luxuries that I had never imagined  ,  the gifts that He has endowed me with ....the ability to sing , the literary sensibility to enjoy good reads and to give expression to my thoughts and feelings,...  to have given  me the sensitivity to enjoy the wondrous beauty of His creations of flaura and fauna and the abundance of healthy seasonal   staple edibles that is so plentiful that it  satiates  and sustains the approximately  7.6 billion humans on this planet ! And will continue to do so even when the world population , as per statistics will be 9.7 billion by 2050 and for  eons to come !!  

          All this infuses a deep sense of contentment and fulfilment in me.

What amazes me is how He has blessed with the bounty , never making me feel any dearth or insufficiency  in any way .

 

           Some believe that every year is a bonus year as one enters the Seventieth  decade of one's life ! However , that does not signify that one should have no desires and become a recluse  waiting for the inevitability .. True one needs to slow down , be cautious about one's health and treasure as well as  utilise well the wealth one possesses ...

Desires can be fulfilled even then if one is blessed with good health   positive spirits  and  certainly the requisite wealth !! 

 For this I look up to the spirited attitude  of the Westerners . At every stage and age they know how to make the most of life ...they are indeed blessed with that boundless energy and vibrance .

           So with the firm belief that I  am continuously being blessed by  my  revered parents , seniors and well-wishers and my unshakeable faith in The Almighty and His  boundless,  unaccountable abundance of plentifulness that He is so kind to shower at every step , every miniscule of a second , I hope and pray that with  my progression to another decade with all my follies and foibles ...

 May He  bless me to be  a  benevolent and more compassionate person so that I  try not hurt others' feelings through my words or actions and am able to  live life to the fullest !

  Vasudaiv Kutumbhakam !! The World is One  Family !  This Sanskrit adage found in  the Rigveda  has without doubt been influential in spearheading translations and has  acted as a catalyst for multiculturalism to evolve and thrive . Bhagvad Gita which is the most translated texts  in the genre of literature in Hinduism proclaims Vasudaiva Kutumbhakam as " the loftiest Vedantic thought " as it captures the unique dynamics that shape lasting familial bonds ! In other words it reverberates with the concept of multiculturalism and has been beautifully fructified through translation .
             Language being the quintessential mode of communication , translation plays a pivotal role in promoting an inclusive and even an  egalitarian society .Bridging the gaps  ,increasing and maximising connectivity , translation has and is perpetually proving productive and beneficial in priorotising cross culturalism.

How wonderful it is to read ,  learn  , gather and also imbibe the good practices of other cultures that have construed to make the world a more liveable place .To get an indepth knowledge of other mythologies , belief systems   , customs is not only interesting and informative but also widens the horizon of the mind . Acceptance , adaptability and access to the variegated cultures certainly leads to cultivating and practising noble and lofty ideals refining and upgrading  human lives and their thought processes .
Translation and multiculturalism are thus complementary to each other and are almost  synonymous in the present literate world. The one  completes the other shattering mental , religious , social  and psychological barriers .Translation has facilitated ethnic inclusiveness  and similarly multiculturalism has propelled and assissted translation .
Artificial Intelligence,  A I is simultaneously engaged in cementing the ethnic mosaic  through translations .Very soon our sophisticated smart phones will be replaced by A I Pins that   , apart from other special features , will convey texts / verbal communication in any language by translating in the desired language to the receiver in seconds !!
    Moreover as the Crown of The Almighty's  creation , we have been blessed with the most phenomenal gift of a human form. And as human beings we have the power of choice , the ability to think , feel , endure and accommodate at any given moment. This is a potent tool that enables us, social beings  to  assimilate and acculturate  eventually culminating into a happier world with a progressive mindset .
So it is now One Globe , One Family , One Future ! 

On Our 45th Anniversay : For my dear Husband

  I was made and meant to look for you and wait for you and become yours forever !

It was our hope and faith in each other that we could push aside the barriers , jump hurdles ,  leap  fences and penetrate walls to arrive at 

our final destination!
45 years have gone by and yet I feel that same flutter in my heart , the same yearning and longing for you even now ! And from the day I became your Begum my only wish is to see you happy and to try and make you happy in whatever way I can.
You make me feel like a Queen in every sense of the term ...
Both of us treasure each other ...and have created beautiful memories ...and most of all have been blessed in every step of our lives even in the midst of adversities .

No words can express the everlasting love we have for each other.
Your love is so all - absorbing and soooo deep that it makes me feel so very priveleged , so fortunate and exceptionally blessed abundantly..
Of all the love stories in the world ours is the most amazing and the most awesome!
Soulmates do exist !
Our mission in life now should be to always feel and experience how Blessed we are  , how The Almighty has surrounded us with loved ones , with  all the comforts , the luxuries of indulging in whatever we wish to, to  count 

our blessings always and be ever grateful to HIM.
My only appeal to Him is to keep us together always and continue to keep showering His Grace on us 🙏🙏
